Photos of the president’s summit with Russia reportedly show the words “there was no collusion” scrawled across his notes.
A photographer for the New York Times reportedly took a photo of the president’s prepared notes for the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that show the phrase “there was no collusion” written in the margins in Sharpie.
The photos also show that the phrase “anyone involved in that meddling to justice” was crossed out, also with a Sharpie.
The president has been the subject of even greater controversy than usual following a disastrous summit with Putin during which the president of the United States sided with Russia against the U.S. intelligence community regarding the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
These photos further support the general consensus that the president of the United States has been compromised by the Russian president and that he does not act as an autonomous agent with the best interests of this country at heart.
The president has since tried to walk back his comments against the U.S. intelligence community to very limited success as he continues to receive criticism from both sides of the aisle.
