Canada Becomes Second Country to Legalize Cannabis Nationwide

Canada has officially declared the legalization of cannabis nationwide, which is set to take effect this October.

Following Uruguay, Canada is now the second country in the world to legalize the recreational use of cannabis nationwide.

Some half million Canadian citizens have criminal cannabis convictions on their records, whom activists say should be granted amnesty as the law comes into effect.

Oh, and by the way — it’s cannabis, not marijuana.
